Nico Gaddi, the artist from Grado – photographer, graphic artist, painter and sculptor – passes away unexpectedly at the age of 65 at the beginning of March 2022. Until the end he is involved in a major new project and lives his creativity and passion for art. 

Nico is a multifaceted artist who never wanted to be reduced to just one specific art form.

His “Botega”, as he calls his gallery and studio in Via Gradenigo in the Old Town of Grado, is his magical realm, populated with sea animals and mythical creatures, paintings, graphics and photographs, a truly enchanted and enchanting place. 

Even though Nico’s Botega is deserted today, a tour of Grado allows an insight into the artistic diversity of his work.
