Paintings

In many paintings, Nico presents the islands of the lagoon from a bird’s eye view; they are reproduced on canvas, among other things, with parts of old sacks and rusty pieces of iron.

„I have flown a lot over the lagoon with the helicopter and have seen the patterns that ebb and flow form in the lagoon. I thought about how I could reproduce them in paintings with their characteristics.”
